What a treasured possession is.

What is a treasured possession? It could be everything that comes in your mind: a pencil, a piece of paper, a little teddy bear… everything could be a desired and treasured object and one of the most important aspects that makes people consider any object a treasured possession is the sentimental value it has.
But there are other ones that make you feel really fine. Most people enjoy them. What am I talking about? I am talking about a thin and circle pieces that have a hard square cover. If you watch them, they could look like a donut, but they are not edible. They have a very special content, and sometimes they may not words, but they express a lot of ideas and feelings, some other times they make us dance; that would be the music, precisely the CDs
They can be old fashioned for some people because there are some other technologies that are improving the music market. In spite of this, there are some other people, like me, that considered the great value that a CD can have for anyone.
For me, my most treasured possessions are my Radiohead’s discs, most of them I have in a special edition or are imported from some other countries. It goes without saying that Radiohead is one of my favorite bands that is why I really considered it to be a big treasure for me.
Another of the most interesting things about music or CDs is that we can find them anywhere. There are some places that are really specialized in one kind of music; some others sell all kinds of music. But not only in the stores, we could go to a party and we are almost sure that there will be music and might be people dancing.
The music or CDs have another special aspect that makes us know more about some other places that we have never visited. They also can be useful for a school practice. So, music makes a person relax, feel, dance, is amazing.

I think I get 17.

I think you, generaly, did a good job. Despite some errors the main idea is understandable, but the detail are a bit fuzzy.

I think you did a good job and although our topic was the same the content is very different. I only got reading trubles with some mechanic items.

  4. Hi Daniela: I think you did a good job, but I think there's missing a more detail explanation about why you like Cds, maybe the feelings you have when you listen to radiohead's songs and the reasons for treasured their CDs.

  5. Hi Daniela. Good job. I found some spelling mistakes and also, I think the two first paragraphs are too long and actually are not related with the CDs, maybe you can add some information in these paragraphs to introduce your interest for CDs.

I like the way you developed the ideas. I think it was very interesting when you emphasized the value CDs have for some people, and also the music. I think you accomplish the goal of the task by describing the valued objects, and then your special ones. I think you did a very good job.

I like the way you started, it was strong, but in the middle I thik you lost strength.

In general it was well structured, aslo I like it because I share your opinion about CDs, is a shame they´re about to disappear, besides I´m a big fan of Radiohead.

  16. Hey Daniela, I think you did a nice work, explaining your ideas in a good way, but I think in some parts you were more formal than in others. I share with you the importance of the CD but most of all, as you said, the real value of the music.

  17. Hello.

I think that you did it well, I didn't find major mistakes, and it was very interesting the part when you try that the reader could guess what are you talking about, is a good literary resort. You respected your main idea, and didn't contradicted yourself.

There are some parts where your text sounds like Spanish, for example, in the part where says: " For me, my most treasured possessions are my Radiohead’s discs...", you could have ommited "For me".

    That´s all.

I liked the way you express your ideas. I think it´s clear. You have a good organization and linked the ideas in the right way. You should check your use of English and the verb tenses according to the situation. Good job.
